    About the role

    This is an exciting opportunity working in a unique part of the health sector, no 2 days will be the same! This is your chance to be part of providing essential, lifesaving blood and blood products to support the health needs of New Zealanders.

    For this newly created position, we are looking for a rostering and scheduling champion to lead our newly expanded National Rosters team.

    You'll lead our team of Roster Coordinators who roster our Nurses, Donor Technicians, Laboratory Scientists, Laboratory Technicians and Logistics assistants.

    This is a key role in managing roster templates and design, Blood donation appointment schedules, as well as providing staffing and capacity modelling across NZBS.

    Our people are key to the success of NZBS, and rostering our workforce is complex and varied. Our people work at 9 static sites across NZ and frequently are rostered to travel to 'away mobiles' all of which provide additional challenges and considerations for rostering.

    Your leadership, planning and analytical skills are key to making a success of this role.
