A challenging and rewarding opportunity has arisen in our Viaduct office to join a small team of Service Designers. This role is reporting to the National Commercial Manager.
It is primarily responsible for using relevant tools and systems to ensure our network schedules are optimised, reliable and fit-for-purpose.
This includes service and network planning, scheduling and driver duty construction, analysis of reliability metrics and reporting, as well as runtime and timetable analysis.
The efficient and effective use of our resources and assets is key to the on-going success of our business.The Scheduler / Service Designer role will liaise with other Service Designers, Operations, Commercial, Finance and Fleet team members to improve operational performance across the business in terms of network design, scheduling and key reliability metrics (i.
e. identifying and resolving missed and late trips). Ideally you will bring : Exceptional analytical, relationship-building and time-management skillsExperience with asset allocation across complex businessesExperience in service and network planning with experience in using reporting systemsExperience in the use of scheduling and optimisation softwareExperience in managing multi-party projects from inception to implementationComfort around working with standard computer systems and the ability to swiftly acquire skills in new programmesFlexibility and the ability to work in a fast paced and changing environmentExperience building and maintaining working relationships with Regional Councils and Transport Authorities would be highly beneficialIn addition, you will have good verbal and written communication skills and are adept to working with minimal supervision, work effectively under pressure and hit the ground running.
