Reporting to the Chief Executive, we are seeking a leader with a "can-do" attitude for the position of Clinical Executive, Mental Health and Addictions to lead the implementation of our Integrated Service Model.

This is the vehicle by which MDHB will implement the DHB's strategy (displayed as Appendix B in the Job Description). At maturity, the Integrated Service Model will deliver an integrated health and social system that ensures individuals, patients, family / whanau and communities are the centre of everything we do.

Working alongside the Operational Executive you will have a critical role in the transformation of mental health and addiction service delivery in our area.

This role forms part of the Executive Leadership Team and is expected to contribute to overall organisation decision-making, communication, and building a high performing culture while demonstrating commitment to Treaty partnership through purposeful actions.

With a strong focus on managing change, the roles provide an exciting opportunity for seasoned leaders within MidCentral DHB who are passionate about making a difference.

Situated in the lower half of the North Island of New Zealand, Palmerston North is the centre of the Manawatu region. Hosting a major university, and tertiary institution, Palmerston North is a young vibrant city with lots going on.

It is at the hub of key routes to the central North Island ski fields, and river adventures. It is less than two hours by road to the capital city, an international airport, the wine growing regions of Hawke's Bay and Wairarapa, and is surrounded by opportunities for sports and outdoor activities.

Specific enquiries, treated in confidence, maybe addressed to Keyur Anjaria, General Manager People and Culture.

MidCentral District Health Board is committed to ensuring that children and young people are safe from abuse and harm. As part of our commitment to children and young people, and in line with the Vulnerable Children Act 2014, appointment to positions that involve regular or overnight contact with children will include worker safety checks.

These checks are in addition to the requirement to have a satisfactory police clearance. Further information will be provided to shortlisted candidates.
