Mangere, 2022Full-time, Permanent$55,000 a yearThe facilities team supports the running of our flagship manufacturing and warehouse site in Auckland reporting in to the Facilities Manager.
This role will assist in ensuring safety, quality and wastage in the building facilities and contribute to a safe environment for our babies and toddlers.
We are definitely looking for someone with the can do attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks from start to finish.
In this role of a Facilities Technician / Maintenance Handyman the successful candidate will take ownership of facilities and maintenance / repairs of the manufacturing site.
Assist with project work to enhance plant capability and efficiency.Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) : Conduct Daily Maintenance as required, communicated and ad hoc tasks as required.
Act with a sense of urgency in dealing with incidents relating to safety, quality and wastageCoordinate engineering and electrical contractors to assist with maximizing plant up time and minimize cost.
Work with building contractors, plumbers and waste removal suppliers.Work effectively in a team environment.Attend all trainings required to ensure efficient working.
Punctual, trustworthy and maintains an excellent attendance record.Work overtime when required.What are we looking for?Experience in facilities maintenance role or as a handymanA high level of fault finding ability and able to work and make decisions without supervision.
