Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization :
To ensure positive development of the adidas brand image through an industry benchmark Sports Marketing portfolio supporting brand and category objectives.
Identify, service, and leverage talent.
Key Responsibilities :
Build and maintain a diverse asset portfolio supporting key categories and business objectives as directed by the NZ Sports Marketing Manager.
Build and foster strategic relationships with key stakeholders and influencers in the sports & entertainment industry.
Develop a reputation in the sports & entertainment industry as the brand that provides the best products & services to position adidas to the partner of choice.
Identify athletes and influencers who align with adidas brand values for the purpose of securing partnerships in line with brand strategy
Negotiates and executes contracts in line with adidas processes and policies
Ensure teams and individuals wear defined adidas products to support brand communications plans.
Ensure all contractual obligations are met in full by all partnered assets
Monitor and ensure on-field compliance
Develop and execute cross-category leveraging plans for sports marketing and influencer assets to maximize their brand impact and return on investment.
Operate as part of the NZ sports marketing team to ensure a seamless go to market service of all assets
Ensure all the activities of the sports marketing group comply with relevant Acts, policies, legal demands and ethical standards.
Maintain strong relationships with all internal adidas stakeholders using effective communication.
Build reports and presentations reviewing NZ Sports Marketing and influencer activities and activations
Ensure all activities are in line with budget parameters and managed diligently

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications :
University Degree, preferably in Sports Marketing
Experience in the sports marketing or promotion department at an international brand.
