We are a referral surgery practice located in the heart of the mighty Waikato here in Hamilton. We offer a range of advanced surgical services, predominantly orthopaedic surgery, but also provide a wider range including soft tissue surgeries and spinal surgery.

Our team is led by our surgeon with a wealth of experience after working as a registered Specialist Veterinary Surgeon with the South African Veterinary Council.

As a sole-surgeon practice our Veterinary Nurse team work to the full extent of our qualifications and skill set and duties include (but are not restricted to) :

Above all us we are looking for a confident nurse who is passionate and willing to learn. Someone who can fit into our small team, which are geared to provide our patients with top standard care and service.

Good communication skills are essential. Some experience is vital but we are willing to consider applicants of all experience levels who fit the other criteria to be able to excel here at VetSOS.

This is a full time position, including no rostered weekend work (but does include some sporadic inpatient care if we have high needs patients in at the weekend).

Due to the nature of our work flexibility of hours would be ideal, as we do deal with urgent / emergency cases.
