Permanent part time 20 hours a week We are seeking a highly organised Marketing and Communications Manager to develop and execute an integrated marketing campaign and communications strategy and undertake dayday marketing and PR activity About Us The Laura Fergusson Trust Canterbury is a registered charity and provides a range of communitybased and residential support for adults with acquired or traumatic brain injury spinal injuries and complex physical disabilities The Trust also undertakes research and provides innovative employment opportunities for individuals with Brain Injuries through its social enterprise Can Do Catering Company The services we provide are unique and essential within the Canterbury community and wider south island where we support over 500 individuals on any given day by our staff of over 230 About the Role This is a new position reporting to the Chief Executive of the Laura Fergusson Trust Canterbury The role will take responsibility for driving forward the marketing and communications function for the Trust This is an extremely exciting opportunity to make a real difference to an innovative and developing charity We are embarking on a major capital fundraising campaign in 2020 to re build our facilities in Christchurch Our current buildings are no longer fit for purpose nor meet our vision for future service delivery To address this challenge you will work closely with our development fundraising manager and other team members across the organisation to shape activity reach key audiences and deliver against marketing and communication objectives Your main responsibilities will include writing wellresearched copy for a variety of channels including our resident newsletters websites staff intranet stakeholder publications marketing materials and press releases You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to research and write positive stories and media releases and work proactively with journalists to get them published and broadcast What we offer Competitive remuneration Mobile phone A friendly team focussed working environment Flexible work arrangements Reimbursement of Professional Memberships Gym membership at corporate rates About You Minimum 3 years relevant professional experience in communications marketing or professional fundraising roles Experience developing and implementing effective integrated communication plans across multichannels and touchpoints Demonstrated experience in maintaining and updating a website intranet and social media platforms Demonstrated experience working with suppliers such as web designers graphic designers videographers printers data management organisations and mail houses A Bachelors degree in marketing communications or related field would be advantageous If you are interested in this exciting opportunity we would love to hear from you Enquiries regarding this position can be made to Kathryn Jones Chief Executive M 0210311557 To apply for this job go to lftcant recruitmenthub co nz Vacancies enter ref code 4895798 Applications close 10 November 2019
