How you'll make an impact :
You'll be part of a friendly and dynamic team that supports our customers in the development of life changing drugs & vaccines.
This is a front line leadership role which involves supervising the Christchurch Quality (QA / QC) team to effectively and efficiently complete the day to day quality assurance and quality control tasks, in conformance with standard operating procedures, and cGMP / ISO principles.
What will you do ?
Providing quality systems leadership at our Christchurch site, ensuring a high level of conformance to the established quality system (rigorous application of the principles of ISO 9001 and cGMP).
Providing a high level of technical and scientific leadership in a broad range of QC and QA processes
Coordinate workflow and take a hands on and team approach to completion of required tasks
Co-ordinate, approve and maintain Thermo Fisher Scientific quality system documentation such as SOP’s, standard forms and batch manufacturing records.
Demonstrating a high level of customer focus and responsiveness including direct interaction with customers (and regulatory agencies) during audits.
On-going development of the QA / QC team through coaching and skills development to support achievement of objectives, personal development and change management
Support and / or lead PPI (practical process improvement) and customer related initiatives and projects.
Be a member of the Quality team across BioProduction Division, supporting cross-site initiatives insuring fir for use products around the globe.
How will you get here?
Tertiary Science qualification
Experience working in a cGMP / ISO environment in a Quality role
Experience with and high level of understanding of ISO9001, and / or ISO13485 quality systems and principles
Experience in team leader or supervisor role
Experience with respect to regulatory affairs e.g. MPI preferable
