Reporting to a Senior Actuary, this role is part of a highly performing Actuarial team within the wider Financial Services division.
In this role you will lead and provide support for projects and business as usual tasks across a range of actuarial work.
Key responsibilities of the role : Prophet model maintenance and developmentBuild data analytics capabilities utilising software such as SQL, R and TableauLead and provide support to special projects including IFRS17Support financial and regulatory reportingSupport solvency and capital managementModel governance and validationWhat we’re looking for : Tertiary qualification with quantitative backgroundFinancial services industry experience (ideally life or health insurance, but other financial services experience will also be considered)Proven strong technical skills, including analytical skillsIntermediate to advanced Prophet skillsStrong programming skills.
Familiarity with SQL, R, Tableau or other relevant platforms is preferableStrong business acumen and ability to deal with ambiguityHighly motivated and results drivenProject and team management skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to engage with non-
