  • Salary range $132,417 to $160,472 About the roleThe Manager Immigration Marketing is accountable for :
  • Delivering high quality programmes to support INZ's critical stakeholders to understand their obligations and better engage with the immigration system.
  • Identifying and connecting in-demand migrants with opportunities in New Zealand and ensuring migrants understand their rights, obligations and the support available to them.
  • The role reports to the National Manager Information & Education (I&E) within the Strategy Engagement and Education branch of INZ.

    The I&E unit consists of three teams with a collective purpose of listening to INZ's customers and supporting them to comply :

  • Digital Channels : develops INZ's digital capability through seamless customer journeys
  • Information Products : explains policies through clearly crafted products & programmes
  • Immigration Marketing : raises awareness of policies with tailored messages through targeted channels. Skills and experienceThe Manager Immigration Marketing needs deep experience in contemporary marketing with a focus on digital and an understanding of the importance of maintaining a strong customer focus within a regulatory environment.
  • We want to hear from you if you have :

  • Experience leading a marketing function in a large organisation or public sector environment
  • A deep and current understanding of contemporary marketing approaches, with an emphasis on digital channels
  • A strong track record in offshore inbound marketing targeting, attracting, and nurturing key prospects
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including experience in presenting concepts and frameworks to a range of audiences
  • An strong customer focus along with a demonstrated ability to think strategically and laterally about current and future issues, risks and opportunities
  • A demonstrated ability to easily build professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to develop and lead innovative and effective solutions to complex issues
  • Able to think strategically and manage time and relationships with others effectively for shared outcomes
  • An understanding of the importance of maintaining a healthy and dynamic team culture
  • Ability to engage in clear sighted planning with experience engaging in process improvement activities
  • Experience in managing finance and resources
  • Degree level qualification in relevant subject, or similar, is desirable. Practical and demonstrable experience in this area is required.
