About the role
The role is broad with a core focus on financial accounting for the New Zealand entities, analysis of the results and all associated compliance work.
The role will support the Financial Controller (who is very established and will be a great boss) and responsibilities will include :
Assisting with month financial reporting
Monthly variance reporting
Supporting key Managers across the NZ business
Contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes
Assisting the FC with the annual audit
Preparation of annual statutory accounts
Providing technical support around the ERP system (key part of the role!)
Proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes and minimize risk
So Who Are You & What Is Your Profile?
You are a Qualified Accountant! Newly Qualified is more than OK but you need to have some experience of a financial accounting role in a commercial environment due to the multi-faceted nature of the role.
Strong MS Excel skills coupled with high attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to think laterally around the business and the impact of the numbers and data.
