About the Role

You will be a key member of a small and friendly team dealing with the critical function of producing schedules and rosters to effectively utilize staff and rolling stock (Trains).

  • This is a 6 month fixed term role - Monday to Friday 40 hours per week*
  • About You

    Ideally, you will have experience in the passenger rail (or transportation) industry; an understanding of timetabling, scheduling and rosters / shift work management, and knowledge of the Auckland Suburban Rail Network

    Your skillset includes :

  • Excellent organisation, planning, problem solving, analytical, evaluative and decision making skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Computer literacy, particularly proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • An understanding of strategic planning principles and applications
  • A positive attitude and enthusiasm to ensure continuous improvement in the design and development of train services and staff scheduling.
