We have a great opportunity for an experienced Community Support Worker, looking for a Permanent Role at one of our client's homes in Paraparaumu.
You would need to be reliable, self-motivated with excellent relationship skills, resilient and flexible. You will use your skills to support people in achieving positive goals in their lives and contribute to the effective day to day running of the services.
This rewarding role involves :
Leading and motivating the Support Worker team whilst assisting the client with home and community based cares to maximise independence
Ensuring the effective delivery of appropriate, high-quality home support services to Healthvision Clients
Working cohesively with the team to provide wraparound services to client ensuring cares provided are in alignment with client service plans
Ensuring effective and positive team work whilst maintaining communication with the Support Office / Client Services Managers / Registered Health Professional
Visiting Clients in their homes to provide support and care, in line with the Client’s Service Plan, and within the parameters of the plan
Monitoring and reporting on Client progress to the appropriate Healthvision Client Services Manager
Supporting the Client Services Manager by ensuring support workers are assigned to clients when rostered carers are unable to attend
The ideal candidate would have :
An NZQA level 3 or 4 or equivalent qualification
Experience working with Complex Care or Challenging Behaviour Clients or Team Leader experience would be an advantage
Ability to work alongside a diverse range of people with different support needs.
Ability to work in a cohesive manner and make an effective unit / team contribution.
Demonstrate professionalism and integrity.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
A full driver’s license
Previous experience preferred but comprehensive training will be provided
Evidence of your vaccination status (as per the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021 which specifies that all frontline workers must be vaccinated)
NZ Citizen, Residency, or a valid NZ Open work visa
As this is a Frontline Healthcare role, all applicants must be able to provide evidence of compliance with the Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021, specifying that all Healthcare workers must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Pay Rate : $22.49 - $28.25 per hour + a weekly Team Leader Allowance
