About the role

We are seeking an Associate Systems Engineer to join our customer-focused support team. As a support team member, you’ll interact directly with clients and other members of the Datacom teams to support technology-based solutions.

You’ll be responsible for server infrastructure support within contracted time frames and services level agreements. This support will involve remote support and assistance and participate in an on-call roster for after-hours support an excellent opportunity to be part of a customer-focused support team.

What you’ll do :

You will be part of our extensive Operations business, which supports each other by working collaboratively across locations.

You’ll be providing technical maintenance and support services within agreed service levels and maintaining technical documentation.

You will also be using tools and processes to deliver services to customers to ensure their service level agreements are met, proactively managing their IT environments, and driving service improvement.

Requirements

You are someone who :

  • Has passion and pride in everything you do, including your customer focus and drive for outcomes
  • Is honest and shows transparent communication with excellent organisation skills
  • Real drive and commitment to learn and grow as an engineer
  • Takes ownership of support activities and sees them through to resolution
  • Your technical experience should include :

  • Proven experience IT Support or Systems Administration or a similar role
  • Support experience with Microsoft operating functions (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, ADFS, DHCP.)
  • PowerShell scripting will also be beneficial
  • Knowledge or awareness of ITIL practices
  • Your customer focus and communication skills will be a strength and an ability to develop and maintain productive internal and external relationships.

    You will commit to delivering quality outcomes with care; therefore, attention to detail is a must. We are also keen to hear about your problem-solving experience and drive for service improvements.
