Shakti Community Council Inc. is a 25-year-old not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the well-being of migrant refugee women and families of Asian, Middle Eastern and African origins.

If yes, we have an opening for National Organizational / Community Development Manager who can manage, direct the organization & member organizations in achieving, implementing and delivering organizational goals / vision and also advocate and enhance funding and fundraising opportunities for the services we deliver.

This position works in partnership with our National Service Delivery Manager.Here is what your tasks may look like if you were to become National Organizational / Community Development Manager for a not for profit community organization / NGO.

TasksResponsible for expansion and future development of Shakti’s Regional Member Organizations.Work towards achieving strategic goals of Shakti Community Council in the area of community developmentAdministration of National Office & overseeing Administrators of Member Organizations i.

e. overall management of administrative tasks nationally.Oversee and support the work of Funding Unit and ensure each member organization as well as Shakti’s National Office is adequately resourced and funds are tracked.

Implement and maintain Quality Assurance on an ongoing basis with Administrators of various Shakti Organizations and National Office.

Active involvement in advocacy and lobbying for the welfare of migrant and refugee as well as wider communities.Will be responsible in implementing Risk Management policy which includes mitigating risks.

Will be involved in developing National & Regional Budgets alongside with the Finance Team.Skills / Qualifications Required : Our Ideal candidate should have following skills and attributes : Have qualifications / background in Management, Development Studies, or Organisational Leadership.
