  • Join our new Property team as a Property Procurement Specialist to help deliver property and asset management to the Wise Group.


    Wise Property Solutions is a new service that delivers innovative and sustainable property solutions that creates fresh possibilities for the Wise Group.

    We do this through delivering smart, effective and efficient property solutions that reduce risk for all parties.

    We’re looking for a Property Procurement Specialist who will source affordable and suitable residential stock for Wise Group entities based on their specific needs.

    This role is full-time working 40 hours per week, Monday Friday based in our Rotorua office. In this role you will need to be prepared to travel across New Zealand as required.

    You’ll report to the Team Lead : Property Systems & Design, and you’ll be responsible for building a fit for purpose property portfolio by developing and sustaining strong relationships with real estate property managers and private landlords to find long-term housing options.

    You will need to develop a good understanding of the client groups supported by the Wise Group and help mitigate forms of discrimination and any barriers preventing access to community support services and housing.

    In this role you will ensure that all property is affordable, healthy, fit for purpose and well maintained. You will create credibility and trust when representing Wise Group and its entities, building strong relationships and reputation.

    We’d love to hear from applicants who have established local, regional and national strategic relationships in the industry, who are experienced successful negotiators in the residential sector, and who also have a relevant qualification in property industry or related, preferably at degree level.

    You’ll also have :

  • A clean, full drivers license
  • Knowledge of healthy homes and minimum housing standards
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and legislation
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Sensitivity to cultural and socio-economic characteristics of population served
  • Knowledge of Treaty of Waitangi principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
