The Pharmacy Department at Taranaki DHB (TDHB) has a 2.8 FTE vacancy for experienced clinicians to work in the Electronic Medicines Management (eMM) team.
These positions have become available as TDHB is the pilot site for the Te Manawa Taki eMeds Project.
The eMM team is currently responsible for the effective running and maintenance of regional ePharmacy, MedChart, eMedRec and Pyxis systems.
Our aim is to optimize the safety, efficiency and ongoing quality improvement of the electronic Medication Management solution set.
This is achieved using system workflow and data analysis, coupled with quality improvement, education and communication.
The ideal candidate will have a strong educational focus, excellent problem solving ability and a keen eye for quality improvement and medication safety.

Doctor, Nursing, Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician experience is required. A range of opportunities exist within the current team including business as usual and / or project activities, depending on the professional group, skills and experience of the applicant.
These positions will be between 0.5 FTE to 1.0 FTE, plus additional casual hours and on call as needed.
