A truly rewarding management opportunity is currently available for a Service Manager (General) to provide supportive management while building on the strengths of Support Workers who provide support services to people in the community with intellectual disabilities.
You will bring experience in creating a positive and inclusive team environment, and the drive to build strong relationships with the people we support and their families to ensure individual needs and wants are achieved.
You will have previous people management experience (within the Health and Disability sector would be preferred but not essential) as well as a genuine desire to make a positive difference to people's lives.
A can-do attitude and hands-on approach with the resilience to work positively within a changing environment are essential to ensuring your success as a Service Manager.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be working alongside other Service Managers and a skilled Regional / National team who are dedicated to the continuation of a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Due to the nature of our services, it is essential that you be available between Monday-Friday (6 : 30am-7 : 30pm), and weekends (6 : 30am-2 : 30pm), as well as other core hours with on-call requirements on a rotational basis covering 80 hours per fortnight.
