He angitūtanga About the role
The Principal Advisor role is new to Ngā Whenua Rāhui. You will provide strategic input and a high level of policy advice to senior leadership and the Komiti and provide support on issues that impact the work of Ngā Whenua Rāhui and our relationships with tangata whenua.

You must be an effective communicator to a wide range of audiences. Your role is crucial to develop relationships aligning conservation goals with the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
To achieve all this, you will need to be a team player. You will need to think big and yet provide detail and clarity. Your strong analytical and organisational ability will be complemented by excellent written and oral communication skills.
Great people skills and the ability to relate well to others is essential.
