Prior / Current experience as an Assistant Butchery Manager / Butchery Supervisor is essential to delivering on the requirements of the role.
The key aspects of the job role are as follows : OPERATIONALLead the operational requirements and performance of the Butchery Team to achieve its objectivesEnhance the reputation of the department / business by promoting and encouraging best practice’ levels of customer service.
Ensure sales and GP targets for the department are met or exceeded and that wage costs are controlled appropriately.Ensure Foodstuffs’ New World promotional and pricing programmes are adopted so that the store presents a competitive and brand consistent offer to the market at all times.
Control ordering for department through effective use of the in-store purchasing systems. Manage SAP functions, systems and controls.
Ensure retail standards are achieved at all times; the shop is full and appealing throughout the hours of trade.Lead Food Safety and Health and Safety programme in the department.
