Lockheed Martin NZ offers competitive remuneration commensurate with skills and experience. THE ROLE : This unique role sits within our customer’s structure and forms part of our Camp Q warehousing team, managed by Lockheed Martin.

The primary purpose of this team is the operation of the Trentham supply store including uniforms, weapons and other ceremonial equipment.

Inventory management is a large part of this role, ensuring data integrity of all supplies through IM controls and compliance checks.

There is also a hands on element to this customer facing role including pick / pack, freighting, issue and returns. At times you may be called upon to work outside your usual work hours due to the nature of the supplies you manage.

ABOUT YOU : To be successful in this role the skills and abilities required include (but are not limited to) the following :

  • Previous military experience
  • Proven warehousing and inventory management experience
  • Experience in the operation of SAP or similar ERP Inventory Management System
  • Knowledge of health and safety, including safe work practices as some heavy lifting is required

    I.e. 10 days sick leave. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS : You must be able to obtain and maintain a Confidential Government Security Clearance to be considered for this role.

  • Minimum criteria : A NZ Citizen / NZ Residence class visa holder, who has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries for the last 10 years : either Australia, Canada, NZ, the United Kingdom (UK) or the United States of America (USA);
  • and a background history that is verifiable and can be assessed as appropriate by the NZ Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) towards a recommendation of suitability for a security clearance at this level You will also be required to undergo pre-employment activities including drug screening and vetting by NZ Police.
