We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Claims Manager - Marine. This is a full- time position based in Auckland where you'll relish the exposure to New Zealand's largest marine market.
About the roleReporting to the Manager Specialist Claims, you'll be an integral part of our Specialist claims management team.
Leading six Marine Claims team members who provide claims related advice, processing, management and settlements, it'll be rewarding to empower your people whilst offering guidance on complex issues and decision-
making.A key component to this role will be leadership and people management, together with the pursuit of improving performance standards to ensure that customer satisfaction levels are met.
Responsible for ensuring the Marine Claims team operates within expected company systems and processes you'll make a valuable contribution to the success of our cargo, hull, carriers liability and pleasure-
craft claims offering.About youTo succeed in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate that you're able to motivate and support your team to reach their full potential and to achieve business goals whilst ensuring a key focus on customer service.
You'll also have a comprehensive understanding of insurance operations with a strong expertise in marine claims handling.
The role carries with it business improvement expectations in furtherance of our customer promises, so the ability to drive change will be a key attribute.
