We invite you to be part of this new journey.The purpose of this role is to develop and execute Procurement Category Strategies and Plans, and deliver Supplier and Contract Management outcomes to enable the best possible 'value for money' outcomes for Auckland Transport (AT).
The role will consider the "whole of life cost" of the goods, services or works being procured, and will position Auckland Transport as "customer of choice" for its suppliers.
To be considered for this role you will ideally have : Minimum 2 years in a Procurement 'category' rolePrevious experience in : Category ManagementSupplier relationship and contract performance management, orTender management, orSourcingAn understanding and appreciation of the workings and functions of the public sector, including current and future business drivers and statutory requirementsExperience in use of enterprise applications such as SAP and Microsoft Office applicationsWHY US?
