The Agile Delivery Lead role is to establish a delivery environment where the Agile team can deliver on track, on time and according to specifications.
in addition, given Datacom's position as a vendor, this role also includes the logging of the RAID as well as decisions.
The other key focus of the role is in supporting the Product Owner with data, forecasting and reporting to enable the ongoing prioritisation from a view of feasibility and value.
Ideal background / experience :
A university degree in a related field
Knowledge of all project management methodologies especially Agile , software and tools
Experience in team management / mentoring
Strong technical background
Experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and on budget
A typical day would involve :
Ensuring transparency in communication and creating an environment of collective accountability and continuous progress
Promoting a collaborative team environment that fosters creativity and innovation
Facilitating impediment clearing and protecting the team from outside distractions
Facilitating the Agile team to reflect on their dynamics and delivery and find ways to continually improve.
Ensuring Scrum methodology is understood, and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines Coaching the Scrum team in self-organization and utilising a cross-functional skillset
Working with the Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision-making in line with organizational goals and expected business benefits
Providing visibility of delivery status and issues to senior management
Coordinating and scheduling the execution of deliverables across multiple teams
Mentoring team members on Agile software development principles and practices
