Job Description About the Team The Operations Reliability Engineering team at Workday, builds and creates solutions to scale our day to day operations and support Workday customers.
This is a fast paced and dynamic team located across the globe. About the Role Workday is looking for a skilled DevOps engineer to join our Operations Reliability Engineering team in Auckland, NZ.
In this role you will have responsibility for troubleshooting complex customer issues and developing internal request fulfillment automation.
Responsibilities : Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues. Develop new functionality to simplify, stabilize, and standardize request fulfillment for internal customers.
Write clear, efficient, and scalable code with an eye towards maintainability. Participate in design and code reviews. Polish, improve, and innovate with regards to the existing request fulfillment code base and pipeline.
Participate in a global on-call roster. Requirements : Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to troubleshoot incidents of diverse scope across complex systems, including both public and private cloud environments.
Proficient in bash scripting and python development. Experience with major development tools and processes such as IDEs, revision control, and continuous delivery, including Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Artifactory.
Effective verbal and written communication skills. Experienced with scrum and other agile development methods. *LI-CD
