Firth is a leading supplier of ready-mixed concrete, masonry products, and premix to the construction industry either directly or through building product distributors.
It has over 2,500 active customer accounts and its products are used across all building sectors and environments. Firth has a team of approximately 650 people, working in 85 operational sites throughout New Zealand.
It's divided into three main product groups, Certified, Masonry, and Dricon.We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Auckland.
The role Reporting to the Commercial Sales Manager, you will be managing and developing effective internal and customer relationships across the region, creating sustainable value-added opportunities.
You will work across all aspects of the sales process from tender stage through to negotiating price and contracts with various interesting clients.
The focus of this role is to take responsibility for the development and management of an existing broad base of customer accounts along with obtaining new business within the Auckland market to maximise profits and achieve sales objectives.
This autonomous role will require you to develop existing and target new markets whilst continuing to identify and deliver solutions to grow market share within the current customer base.
Providing a high level of service that will consolidate long-term relationships, you will play a pivotal role ensuring service excellence which exceeds the expectations of our customers.
About you You’re motivated, realistic and self-sufficient. You are a natural at building strong relationships to ensure you deliver on targets and drive the region’s sales.
You are a confident self-starter who will be perfectly at ease working alone in the region, happy to do whatever is necessary to ensure our customer’s high standards of service delivery are met.
To succeed in this role you will have excellent time management and organisational skills.You’re respected in your industry and your credibility precedes you.
