We are looking for aperson who can assist our teams to ensure that we continue to provide awelcoming and safe environment.
As aPatient Support and Security Worker you will focus on working with staff tobest meet the needs of patients and their whānau accessing our services.
We have two 12-month, fixed-term positions available asfollows :
Position 1 working 48 hours a fortnight (0.6FTE)
Position 2 working 64 hours a fortnight (0.8FTE)
It would be ideal if you had the flexibility to work additionalshifts from time-to-time, covering staff leave.

You will be thetype of person who works in a rational and calm manner and who has the skillsand experience to effectively de-escalate difficult situations and promote asafe and therapeutic environment.
You will be able to relate well to patientsand their visitors. You will be able to work with the clinical team and followdirections.
Previous experiencein security, or a related industry is preferred. However, this is not essentialas training will be provided.
