Tech Lead - Mobile

    We are seeking someone to take on this permanent fulltime role as Tech Lead - Mobile based at our Albany Support Centre.

    Reporting to the Development Manager, this role is responsible for the co-ordination and execution of the mobile solutions as the lead for the Mobile Development Team and will be responsible for the mobile device strategy and roadmaps.

    In this role you will work with the Mobile and Store Systems agile delivery teams, Retail Core Processing (SAP), MuleSoft API delivery team, internal and external solution providers, using Mobile Device Management (MDM) for deployment, to deliver the complete solution to meet the needs of the business.

    Key tasks and responsibilities include :

  • Understand and appreciate the Mobile Application concepts in the global retail context
  • Maintaining and / or coordinating maintenance of existing Mobile applications previously developed by the Mobile agile delivery team.
  • Working with stores to maximise the value of mobility solutions
  • Leading and influencing others to achieve results
  • The successful candidate will have :

  • Solid IT experience (8+ years) including how to develop with great UX
  • Have worked in environments with a mix of Agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Knowledge of Xamarin.Forms, Xamarin / iOS / Android and Mobile Web Technologies (SPA frameworks, Responsive Web Applications) / Full Stack
  • SAP Fiori design standards and Javascript-based development
  • Operational knowledge of mobile application ecosystem / deployment options, mobile platforms and integration patterns
  • Experience with solutions using AWS, ESB and queueing patterns
  • A proactive approach, target focused and goal orientated.
