Progress your Risk Advisory career with Deloitte New Zealand The Role Specialising in Technology Risk with Deloitte as a Manager, you will help our clients manage risk and uncertainty by providing a broad array of services that allow them to better optimise their technology systems and processes to identify, measure, manage and control risk.
There is focus on the management and delivery of client engagements, and business development while maintaining exceptional client service and nurture business relationships.
A key part of this role is to manage our complex portfolio of IT Audits for a range of blue chip South Island businesses.
This requires interacting and influencing senior management teams (including CIOs and CFOs) as well as internal staff members at Deloitte.
What will your day look like?
Lead IT Assurance work in the South Island, including IT Audits, SOC reviews, specific IT Internal Audit engagements, and work alongside our cyber specialists on IT related engagements.
Guide and develop high-performing teams through the design and implementation of technology and data risk solutions to enhance security, increase efficiency and support achievement of business goals.
Advising clients in establishing or improving end-to-end risk management systems, processes and frameworks to enhance business goals, enable effective response, and meet compliance obligations.
Design data and technology-enabled business processes that enable value-adding business outcomes.
Advise clients on solving control design issues based on industry leading practices and regulatory requirements.
Interpret business analyses to identify underlying issues, patterns and relationships, and make data-driven targeted recommendations.
Enough about us, lets talk about you! You are someone with :
5+years experience in consulting role specifically involving IT Assurance, business or IT transformation, and risk management disciplines
A qualified in computer information systems or similar.
A compassionate relationship builder who is able to influence clients and teams.
A creative, inclusive and problem solving mind-set.
Project management skills - delivering IT / technology projects preferred.
Empathetic and honest : adapting to variety of client styles to create trusted relationships.
Experience in business development and proposal writing.
Deep understanding of complex information technology systems and industry methodologies and the ability to translate this to non-technical audiences.

We have the largest risk advisory services team in the South Island with extensive knowledge in IT Advisory, Security Architecture, Cyber Risk, Forensic, Discovery, Governance, Risk Management and Internal Audit.
