Casual Registered Nurse Vaccinators MMR Catch-Up ProgrammePlanning, Funding & OutcomesWaitemat & Auckland District Health Boards Work for an organisation where everyone matters! In an exciting collaboration Auckland and Waitemat DHBs are working together with a shared vision and purpose of delivering better outcomes, high quality services, and maximising the health and well-being of the people of Auckland.

The two DHBs are embarking on an exciting project to improve the immunisation coverage of our 15 to 30-year-old community.

We are seeking experienced registered nurses to be part of a vaccination team to deliver a high quality, effective and safe MMR immunisation catch-up to young people in the region.

As part of this project we are looking for Youth-friendly, innovative and independent RNs with a positive can-do attitude, who :

  • Have a current Practising Certificate
  • Are a current Authorised Vaccinator
  • Have a current CPR Certificate Ideally you will have youth health nursing experience and be experienced in offering vaccinations in offsite clinical settings.
  • This is a casual position, with shift generally Monday to Friday for the next 7 months. There will be the odd evening and weekend work required.
