Manager Planning and Maintenance Systems

This role is a multifunction role encompassing system level scheduling, maintenance system standards and long-term planning.
You will be ultimately responsible for the coordination, sequencing and delivery of a zero-based maintenance budget (ZBB) as defined by asset condition, whole of life plans and life cycle cost assessments.
This role has the flexibility to be based in Rotorua, Hamilton and Taupo
Key responsibilities include :
Development of multi-year maintenance asset plans in CMMS (Maximo) using fundamental RCM concepts within a clearly defined asset hierarchy
Accountability for defining cost of asset ownership, maintenance costs and will assist to deliver a full year (FY+1) risk-based budget for approval
Proactively engage and lead budget discussions with site managers, finance and senior leaders during the approval process
Develop fully costed and detailed maintenance plans for major outages within CMMS FY+15 and ensure they are accounted during the capital planning cycle
Engagement with Portfolio via the maintenance system scheduler is deemed critical to ensure the operating and commercial business objectives are preserved through the planning process
Apply management and leadership expertise to develop, support and coordinate resources to build asset management fundamentals into Mercury
We are looking for :
Degree or higher qualification in Engineering or a related discipline experience ((15 years')
Demonstrated experience managing and leading asset management / operational teams ((5 years')
Collaborative leader with strong relationship management skills
