The primary purpose of
the Head Chef is to lead an efficient, profitable, customer and team centric Kitchen. The Head Chef will work alongside and support the FOH management team as well as follow all company processes.
The Head Chefs responsible for all food produced by the kitchen, day to day operations and ordering, quality control and health and safety.
The coordination and delegation of chefs is also a vital part of the role, ensuring the development and efficiency of the team.
You are a leader, trainer and mentor to all Cooks and members involved in food preparation.
Key Requirements of the Role :
At least 2 years experience in a similar role
Excellent culinary skills with a passion for pushing the boundaries
Proven leadership and communication skills managing small or large teams
Previous experience in achieving operational excellence
Ability to empower your team by passing on culinary knowledge and experience
Willingness to be hands on during key service times weekends and evenings included
Proven experience and success of maintain cohesion between BOH and FOH
Ability to follow and execute Food Safety plans, follow company compliance procedures and review kitchen operations through company wide systems
High personal standards passed on to entire kitchen team
