This role is focused oncontributing to the overall success of the business by maximising Accountcustomer sales and profitability through actively presenting products andservices to existing and potential clients in a manner that encourages theclient to favour us with their business, ultimately building a strong clientbase of Account customers.

To ensure the company image is protected bymaintaining excellent customer service skills.

We are lookingfor someone to be involved in the maintenance and development of Tradebusiness, consistently deliver exceptional customer service, and trulyunderstand our customers and our customers’ businesses.

This role requires :

  • Soundbuilding industry knowledge;
  • Exceptionalcustomer focus;
  • Aproven sales record within the building industry;
  • Well-developedtime management skills;
  • GoodIT and process understanding;
  • Well-developedwritten and oral communication skills.

    Reporting directly tothe General Manager Trade your core focus will be on :

  • Represent, promote and actively drive Account business for the Westgate and Henderson MEGA stores;
  • Develop and maintain relationships and portfolios with both existing and target customers;
  • Responsible for key business development and actively pursues profit maximisation from existing and / or new customers over the short and long term through acquisition, retention and growth strategies;
  • Demonstrate in-depth and specialised knowledge of key products and / or services and provide a high level of sales support;
  • Maintain & enhance margins and monitor credit of customers to ensure DSO days are achieved;
  • Provide and maintain accurate forecasting of sales and customer plans.
