They are an ambitious team who are focused on providing risk support, guidance and insights to ensure good risk management today and in the future.

About the RoleAt BNZ, we're uplifting our risk maturity and capability across the bank over key risk areas. As a subject matter expert in Customer and Conduct risk, you'll play a key role as the 'first line of defence' for risk management across BNZ and enhance a strong risk management culture to assist the business to meet their requirements.

  • You will partner with leaders to assist, support and provide guidance and insights to : identify, mitigate and manage operational risks;
  • enable sustainable and robust compliance with laws and regulations;develop and manage the risk and control environment for risks and compliance obligations;
  • andsupport a strong risk management culture through education and awareness.About you : We are looking for customer focussed risk managers from within the financial services, who have a passion for improving risk management in the Customer and Conduct space.

    Alongside your demonstrated experience in operational risk positions, you'll bring a history of successfully applying the elements of the 'Risk Management Lifecycle' within a business operation or project management context.

    You'll be a creative thinker with the ability to monitor, assess and manage issues across the entire business, as well as confidently communicate and influence internal stakeholders.
