Te Whiwhinga mahi The opportunity
As Lead Advisor, you will provide high quality and trusted strategic advice and insights to the new Chief Operating Officer for Regulatory Services.
Working closely with the operational senior leadership team you will play a critical role in ensuring they can effectively perform their role in driving continuous improvement to compliance, monitoring and enforcement services.
Having your finger on the pulse of operational matters across the group, you will be responsible for helping to keep the regulatory operations function running smoothly.
In addition to providing strategic advice and delivering and supporting crucial forward planning and organisation, a vital part of this role will be joining the dots and connecting people and initiatives within and beyond Regulatory Services.
The key to your success will be top notch communication and stakeholder management skills and the ability to maintain broad oversight of a significant number of work programmes, initiatives and topical issues across Regulatory Services, the organisation as a whole and the wider government / transport sector.
managing the cadence and approach for operations leadership meetings and engagements; and managing or supporting processes related to activities such as budgeting, stakeholder engagement and contractor management.
