Road safety is our highest priority and the overriding purpose of our Road Safety Engineering teams is to significantly reduce deaths and serious injuries on the Auckland transport network.
The OpportunityWith a strategic shift in priority and increased funding, we are bolstering our Road Safety Engineering teams and seeking experienced subject matter experts and leaders, including a Road Safety Engineering Team Leader.
This position will be pivotal in providing strategic operational guidance and thought leadership for safe management and operation of an integrated multimodal transport system for Auckland.
In addition, the role will be responsible for collaborating with the Safety team and providing operational input on the development of the transport network, strategic projects and business cases.
We are looking for expertise in developing and overseeing the delivery of comprehensive programmes of work for Road Safety and lead the implementation of the Safe Systems approach across the division.
