healthAlliance is one of New Zealand’s largest shared services providers. We support the four Northern Region District Health Boards (DHB’s) with technology shared services.

As Vulnerability Analyst you will be support the identification, triaging, assignment and remediation of vulnerabilities as well as ensuring that healthAlliance systems, websites and infrastructure run effectively.

You will be working with some pretty cool Vulnerability Management tools and systems , come and show us what you can do!

Technology plays a significant role in the delivery of quality healthcare services and improving patient experiences. We work in collaboration with the DHBs to support their extensive ICT enterprise and to safely accelerate their digital transformation journey improving the way health information is shared across the region to support better patient care.

  • You will be supporting the identification, triaging, assignment and remediation of vulnerabilities
  • Scanning of healthAlliance systems, websites and infrastructure for vulnerabilities
  • You will own and manage the infrastructure vulnerability scanning process and tools
  • And will be the custodian of the area, actively researching new methods, tools, and strategies to effectively identify vulnerabilities
  • Provide data driven insights into improvement opportunities for infrastructure vulnerability management process
  • What we need to see from you

  • Demonstratable experience in the preparation of reports for technical teams, compliance deliverables and executive management these will be internal and external parties such as DHB Leadership teams
  • Experience in providing highly customised reports and vulnerability metrics’ supporting effective patch management
  • 2 years’ demonstrable experience with infrastructure and website vulnerability scanning tools including Tenable SC, Tenable IO or Similar systems.
  • Previously used commercial and OSINT tools (Preferable)

    This requirement results from healthAlliance being a provider of services to the health sector, meaning that many of our staff interact closely with staff from (and at) DHBS.

    Further, in the event of incidents and emergencies, our Connect building must be available for DHB staff to use as a backup site.

    As a result, all of our staff are required to be vaccinated against COVID 19 under the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021.
