  • We are looking for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist with leadership skills to provide clinical oversight and day to day management of the Nuclear Medicine service based at Auckland City Hospital.

    This is an exciting opportunity for you to be part of a small, friendly and dedicated team of Nuclear Medicine techs who are committed to providing the highest quality of patient care.

    In this role you will work together with the Nuclear Medicine Team Leader and other members of the wider multidisciplinary team.

    You will be responsible for monitoring patient allocation, waitlists and service delivery, reviewing compliance to processes and protocols, quality assurance and coordinating day to day student and trainee activity.

    This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week reporting to the Team Leader. You will be based at Auckland City Hospital.

    As the ideal person for the role you will be a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist with New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board with a current Annual Practising Certificate.

    You will have 3 years or more experience in Nuclear Medicine with some management training experience under your belt. Management training experience is advantageous but not essential so if you have great passion for influencing and leading the change, we would love to hear from you.
