About the role

You will be an integral part of the Sales Support team, which is made up of 6 positions. The team consists of three separate roles and if successful you will be trained to cover two of the roles.

Initially you will learn the Finance Operations role and then it will move to the Sales Operations area both are within the Sales Support team.

The team is a diverse group of people, who work amazingly well together, so it is important that you are a team player with a willingness to help wherever required.

It is a full-time position, working from Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm with one hour for lunch.

The role will include some repetitive data entry but also a variety of situations that will require investigation to resolve.

The role involves using the following systems :

  • Exonet, which is a Finance system
  • Jupiter, which is an inhouse merchant Information database
  • Outlook
  • Word and Excel
  • Vericentre, which is a terminal management system
  • Work location : Wellington, New Zealand

    What you’ll do

  • Ensure Accurate monthly billing for Terminal charges including maintenance of changes to charges and loading of Direct Debits, this will include raising invoices and credit notes in our Finance system
  • Provide sales support administration including loading and cancellation of EFTPOS Merchant Numbers in our inhouse database and provision of contracts to Merchants
  • Liaising with the banks to ensure accurate loading of merchant details and cancellation of numbers as required
  • Manage account reconciliations providing billing reconciliations to merchants for their monthly charges on an ad hoc basis
  • Maintaining three Inboxes including responding to banks and merchants and raising jobs for other areas as required
  • Maintenance of our inhouse database to ensure accurate information is recorded
  • Provide final confirmation of approvals for fee waiver and reduction
  • What qualifications / qualities will you need to be successful

  • Previous Finance or Administration support working experience
  • Experience in the systems listed above are preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with a team
  • Ability to self-motivate and to work without close supervision
  • Willingness to learn
  • Excellent time management skills
