PASSION TO INNOVATE POWER TO CHANGEThe RoleExcellent opportunity to join our expert Bayer Ophthalmology team as our MSL covering the NSW and WA territories.

You will act as a scientific expert and liaise between Bayer and the medical community, disseminating emerging scientific data to medical thought leaders.

This is a predominately field based role in which you will establish long-term scientific and strategic relationships with key physicians / scientists , major medical associations and academic centers of excellence.

Ensuring these key stakeholders have access to up to date scientific information.This is a highly collaborative role that requires you to contribute to the development of strategic business plans with a range of cross functional teams.

You will be responsible for the successful implementation of Medical Affairs strategies at the field level. Role and Responsibilities : Concisely communicate emerging scientific data, study protocols, meeting abstracts, and professional literatureAnswer medical and scientific queries of Medical Societies with regards to Bayer products in concert with the Medical Information team and organise / support / participate in advisory boardsAttend congresses and conventions, interacts with TLs, establish new contacts and gather competitive intelligencePlan and organise scientific training and education events / sessions with TLs within their specific therapeutic area or productAct as a point of contact for investigators, facilitating the interface with investigators and appropriate Bayer personnel responsible for approval, and communication of study progress and completionProvide assistance to Medical Advisors and Market Access by supporting presentations of new information to hospital formularies and reimbursementSupport brand strategy by providing assistance to Marketing colleagues (field insights and education on scientific data)Who you are?

Advanced degree in science-related field (MD, PhD or PharmD) is preferred combined with experience in the Clinical environment.

It will be highly advantageous to have an understanding of health economics and outcomes research, economic / cost effectiveness models as well as understanding of Government Health Policies, Area Health Service Policy & Individual Hospital networks.

You have strong business acumen and a strategic mindset with demonstrated leadership capabilities. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills will be essential to this highly collaborative cross-

functional role.
