As a market leading risk remediation team EY delivers Holidays Act remediation services to clients across a range of sectors.
You can expect to work on large-scale remediation projects a motivated team across different geographies, creating solutions to complex problems and issues and partnering with some of New Zealand’s largest organisations and their people.
This will involve leading a team, identifying insights based on data analysis, working with management and legal advisors to determine methods, reviewing complex model outputs, carrying out training sessions, leading workshops with Unions and employees, presenting to the regulator and helping with change management.
Your key responsibilities
Lead large and complex Holidays Act remediation programmes by : identifying issues; working with management and their legal advisors to determine the most appropriate application of the law to their individual employees;
overseeing large scale data analytics and modelling (with EY’s global team); and undertaking training, communications, and change management.
Be the key contact for clients in relation to Holidays Act remediation programmes and provide exceptional client service.
Coach and mentor team members as part of delivering Holidays Act remediation programmes.
Manage competing demands and priorities whilst delivering on overall programmes of work.
Stay abreast of current business, legislative and economic developments relevant to the client's business.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have
In depth experience in performing risk remediation programmes.
Experience of managing multiple stakeholders across all levels or organisations.
Experience in payroll processes and systems including understanding and application of the Holidays Act 2003.
Eye for detail and focus on accuracy.
Proven project management skills and experience with the ability to effectively resource, lead and close out projects within time and budget
The ability to multi-task and prioritise within a fast-moving environment with multiple deadlines.
Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to understand and explain complex concepts in clear and simple terms
