Campaign & Social Media Co- Ordinator

Sitting within our Marketing team reporting to the Fundraising Campaign Specialist, in this role you will support the rollout of the World Vision 40 Hour Famine campaign, New Zealand’s largest youth-led fundraising event.

You’ll lead the creation, sourcing and posting of strategic, daily content across the World Vision 40 Hour Famine Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok channels, driving user engagement and helping to deliver campaign objectives.

You will deliver relevant, compelling and engaging content for both posts and stories that resonate with our youth audience, ensuring the World Vision 40 Hour Famine content meets the desired standards in terms of overall quality, accuracy, brand, tone, style and adherence to policies.

You’ll also support the Fundraising Campaign Specialist with the campaign rollout across other marketing channels such as above the line, website, eDM and direct mail.

Key responsibilities are :

  • World Vision 40 Hour Famine social media content creation, including design, video editing & copywriting.
  • Community management of World Vision 40 Hour Famine social media pages.
  • Collaborate with staff and World Vision 40 Hour Famine participants to find and leverage great stories and photos to execute the online content strategy.
  • Use analytics tools to monitor our performance, identify insights, trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support the creation of World Vision 40 Hour Famine collateral and collaborating with external agency partners as required.
  • Supporting with project management of the World Vision 40 Hour Famine as required.
  • Qualifications / Experience :

  • 2+ years experience producing social media content, with strong photography, video editing, design, and copywriting skills.
  • Up to date knowledge of the rapidly evolving social media trends and channel updates.
  • Experience with social analytics tools and content management systems.
  • Experience working with the Adobe suite (Photoshop / InDesign).
  • Highly developed communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with brief writing and working with creative agencies advantageous.
  • Ability to develop high quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
