Are you a highly experienced project engineer or project manager wanting to make the next step in your career?

The Waipā District is one of the fastest growing districts in New Zealand. It is anticipated that by 2050 an additional 25,000 people will be calling Waipā home.

To prepare for this growth, we have over $180 million worth of Three Waters, Transportation, and Community Services infrastructure projects to deliver over the next 3 years, including significant new infrastructure to service urban growth cells, multimodal transportation improvements, recreational cycleways, active reserves, and renewals.

We are looking for a Programme Manager - Growth to deliver a major projects programme from draft stage through to implementation and operational handover, working closely with developers and elected members throughout.

Our successful candidate will have :

A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline;

Ten years' experience with delivering major civil engineering projects or work programmes, with five of those years working at a senior level;

Significant experience working with engineering consultants and contractors; and

Experience with formal change, project and contract management methodologies.
