    About the role and who we are looking for :

    We are looking for a Permanent Full Time Site Manager to lead our food services team in Tegel, New Plymouth . Hours of work 04 : 00 - 13 : 00, Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday.

    The hours of operation may be slightly extended past the 13 : 00 finish and therefore flexibility is required in working hours.

    This position provides a great opportunity for an experienced Cook / Chef looking for a step up into a Site Management role.

    The role will be responsible for :

  • Preparation and cooking of breakfast and lunch as well as sandwiches, bread rolls etc, salads, scones, muffins, slices, cakes, pies, bain-marie food.
  • Developing and maintaining excellent client and customer relations
  • Leading and managing a team of four, focusing on providing excellent customer service
  • Ensuring efficient and effective operation of the site within budgets, guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Monitoring compliance with our Quality Management System and Health & Safety
  • Online ordering and monitoring of catering supplies
  • Coordination and management of staff rosters
  • Management of the Quality Assurance Programme
  • The successful candidate will need to be able to :

    The successful candidate should be passionate about food, delivering exceptional customer service and enjoy leading, mentoring and coaching staff.

    You will need to demonstrate experience working as a Cook / Chef with supervisory experience. Have excellent interpersonal skills, be customer focused, enthusiastic and willing to take on new challenges.
