Job Description

We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as an Area Sales Manager.

The role will be a home office based position from Auckland, New Zealand and will involve domestic and international travel.

Position responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

  • Planning and efficient management of customer base within assigned sales territory to ensure achievement of divisional sales targets, across both retail and trade channels and with all customer groups
  • Increase Bosch share of business within customer base through systematic implementation of national sales & marketing strategies, develop new business opportunities through implementation of Potential Driven Customer Strategy
  • Timely and targeted communication of product releases, promotional activities and keeping dealers fully informed of all relevant Bosch Power Tools initiatives
  • Implementation of best practice Bosch Sales Force Excellence
  • Consistent representation of Bosch values and brand attributes with all stakeholders
  • Qualifications

    We are looking for a conscientious professional with the ability to work autonomously, grow the business and establish effective relationships with customers.

    You should be able to demonstrate the following :

  • Proven sales success experience and strong stakeholder engagement
  • Possess strong planning, sales & negotiation and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the power tools industry is highly regarded
  • Hands on experience with SAP is advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • A degree in Business is advantageous but not essential
  • Ability and willingness to travel and engage in customer facing activities
  • Current and valid New Zealanddriver’s license
