About the role
As the main conduit between our Corrections Services' teams and the New Zealand Parole Board, the role of Board Liaison Officer is vital in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the parole review process for Offenders in our management.
You will thrive in a role where strong working relationships and exceptional customer service are the foundations for success.
Proactive in nature, you will be quick to identify and resolve issues whilst communicating effectively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure timelines are never compromised.
From the monitoring of review hearing schedules and updating of records to the collation of information and booking of appropriate facilities, your skills will be put to the test.
Reporting to the Principal Case Manager this position will be responsible for liaising with NZ Parole Board in the administration of Parole Board hearings.
In addition to these duties, you will also be required to undertake a wide range of additional administrative tasks to help support the overall Administration Support structure.

You will need a full New Zealand Driver Licence for this role.
The salary range for this role is $45,518 - $54,120 and progression is dependent of required competency levels. The work profile for this position is Monday - Friday, working 40 hours a week.
Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen, New Zealand Resident Permit holder, Australian citizen or an Australian resident who holds a current Australian Resident Return Visa.
