The Evidence and Investigations Team, as part of the wider General Counsel function, enables and supports the FMA in promoting and facilitating the development of fair, efficient and transparent markets through the delivery of the holistic, pragmatic and high quality investigations and legal advice, required by the FMA to achieve its objectives.
We are looking for an Evidence Systems Analyst to enable the implementation and ongoing utilisation of FMAs evidence management framework.
The role provides best practice guidance and education to support better evidence management decision making across the FMA.
It will support the development of initiatives, policies and processes that improve the FMA's ability to receive, capture, document, track and coordinate all evidence received.
This evidence may be used to support FMA's regulatory function.The role supports the Evidence Manager in championing organisation-wide evidence management best practice so the FMA is able to sustainably present evidence to achieve optimal enforcement outcomes, support wide ranging proportionate remedies for misconduct where appropriate, and promote compliance to ensure the ongoing integrity of the market.
You will have a good understanding of all phases of litigation support. As subject matter expert, you will work with multiple teams across the organisation to plan and establish an effective project management approach that will deliver on the goals and objectives of the organisation.
This position requires a strong technical background, solid understanding of eDiscovery methodologies, excellent interpersonal skills, and experience in leading projects with technical and legal teams.
