    Reporting directly to the Country Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Category agenda within New Zealand. You will take charge leading us towards long term Category Growth that will profitably increase market share, implementing strategies and plans delivering one overall commercial plan.


  • Ensure that strategies and plans continue to deliver category growth based on consumer, shopper and customer requirements.
  • Define priority channels for the market overall and create tailored Category Channel Plans for each Category.
  • Enable the in-store vision of success for each category by channel, including implementation for each category and continuously review the effectiveness of our in-store actions.
  • Lead the Integrated Commercial Planning process to ensure multifunctional input and alignment to the key growth opportunities and action plans at the market level, and within each category.
  • Develop a performance related trade investment strategy to support priority initiatives. Establish clear promotional guidelines by category and channel, and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of our trade investments.
  • Establish winning commercial propositions and support the development of customer and field sales plans.
  • Strong leadership and teamworking skills and demonstrated ability to motivate and develop people

    You possess 8+ years commercial experience, including multi-category and management experience. You will have strong market and strategic sales experience within a FMCG environment and have a proven capacity to effectively deliver results while exceeding expectations.

    You will be a natural collaborator with a strong proactive mind-set and be able to influence those around you to drive your account growth.

    You will possess excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills as well as advanced computer literacy and analytical skills.

    Your conviction will set you apart as will the passion and resilience needed to work within a fast-paced agile environment.
