This newly created role will be consultative, offering higher end, up-stream strategic thinking to help drive our clients business transformation.
You will do this by simplifying complexity to bring clarity of thought. Put simply, the Chief Strategy Officer will operate as the key link between what we think, and what we do.
To be considered for this role you will have similar senior level experience across national or multi regional divisions or agencies.
Engaging with clients to identify business objectives, challenges and opportunities to enable our agencies to aid in delivering long term business success through consumer insights that help shape marketing and non marketing business decisions
Leading the effective development of new to agency, new to market and new to client strategy services, solutions and products
Leading technical pitch and business development activities on behalf of the agencies. To ensure GroupM is positioned well in market to win new business
Establishing and fostering trusted relationships and an understanding of key stakeholders within GroupM clients, including their challenges, objectives and opportunities for our agencies to exceed their expectations
Developing strong media partner relationships - not just with the sales teams but also across content, technology and revenue departments to ensure our group is aware of changes and innovation in the markets to best position our clients for success
Partner with our Chief Digital Officer to understand new, emerging and innovative technology and disrupting opportunities to ensure you remain abreast of the evolution in the industry
Act as a mentor and coach to agency talent with a strong focus on helping, grow, attract and retain.
Building and developing a best in class offering of talent with the appropriate knowledge, capability and skills to deliver effectively for our clients
Sharing, developing and building the knowledge of strategy across the group to ensure that relevant members of the group have a knowledge of and effective use of the tools, practices and processes to deliver value for our clients.
Strategically setting, fostering and measuring a high-performance standard across the group
Collaborating across functions and specialisms to create a more integrated and end-to-end product
