We’ve got an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hospitality Manager to join us in our journey in the role of an Area Coach.

Area Coaches are responsible for ensuring that our venues are best in class for our customers and are maximizing opportunities.

That is being; efficient, profitable, and delivering on targets for revenue, gross profit and our people. The Area Coach also coordinates assistance from the Group Support and high-performance teams as necessary and escalates issues to the Group manager as appropriate.

  • Requirements for the role :

  • Senior management experience with experience in high volume venues
  • Success with team leadership & development
  • Effective communicator
  • Able to manage workflow
  • Great management toolkit & ready to bring ideas on board
  • Great organisational skills, time-management & process driven
  • Sound cost control & revenue generating ability
  • An outstanding employment history with 5+ years of proven experience in the hospitality industry is essential and at least 2 years at management level
  • References will be required.

    The right applicant for this role has experience operating successful bars and restaurants in the past, has a great financial knowledge, is all about succession planning and has a high focus on the development, coaching and mentoring of people.

    This role will be Tauranga based, however we have Venues in Wellington and Hamilton, which could be included in your area’s portfolio, therefore frequent travelling may be a requirement of this role.

    Please note that only New Zealand Citizens or New Zealand Residents will be considered for the role.
